TestPros’ IVV&T approach follows a common and repeatable assessment framework for all efforts. We perform each step (requirements and risk analysis, test strategy and design, test plan(s), resource allocation and test execution, and lessons learned and results reporting) in our IVV&T process regardless of the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) (Agile, ITSM Waterfall, or other variants) or application source (COTS, GOTS, custom). Within this framework, we adapt the timing of our IVV&T staff’s involvement, the pace of execution, and the depth of coverage based upon a system release’s risk profile, the PMO’s schedule objectives, and its relative importance to other concurrent releases.
We built our approach based on IEEE std 1012-2016, IEEE Standard for System, Software, and Hardware Verification and Validation. We deliver the approach using the Project Management Institute’s Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMI PMBOK) for project management, ITIL2017 for IT Service Management (ITSM), and CMMI L3-aligned standard operating procedures to provide a solid foundation of repeatable best practices.
TestPros uses a comprehensive Audit methodology to meet both technical and customer satisfaction requirements. Our methodology is based on SELC, ITIL, CMMI, DHS Policy and Directives fundamentals. Our overall approach to Audits provides the framework and the detailed requirements for verifying that the contractor’s development effort has successfully achieved all the requirements specified in the configuration baselines.
